Simonesque thoughts
I was driving on the freeway the other day, and saw a truck hauling a bunch of smashed, flattened cars. Each of the cars had been wrapped in plastic wrap, they way they often wrap boxes for shipping these days. But the sharp metal corners of the crushed cars, combined with the windy transport had shredded the plastic almost completely and long whipping trails of clear cellophane floated behind the truck some ten feet or more. The shredded ends were quite beautiful and I thought how like a ghostly aura those tendrils seemed....It seemed appropriate that these broken and killed car's spirits still clung to their forms and drifted gracefully behind their forms during the funeral procession.
It seemed a very Simonesque thought.
